Six Canadian hospitals sign contract with Sectra for their services

In a move aimed at enhancing collaboration among radiology, breast imaging, and orthopedic planning workflows, six hospitals in Central East Ontario have secured a contract with Sectra for the implementation of the company's enterprise imaging package, Sectra One Cloud.

The six hospitals, which are members of ENHANCE Ontario, include Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Haliburton Highlands Health Services, Lakeridge Health, Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Ross Memorial Hospital, and Scarborough Health Network. Collectively, these hospitals serve over 1.5 million people across the region.

Each year, approximately one million imaging exams are performed by these hospitals. The consolidation of their imaging data with Sectra One Cloud is expected to streamline these processes, improving efficiency and collaboration.

ENHANCE Ontario is an organization that aims to enable healthcare across networks in Central East Ontario. The consolidation project does not appear to have any impact on the overall aim of ENHANCE Ontario. In fact, it is expected to support the organization's objectives by improving the flow of information and collaboration among the hospitals.

The responsible parties for this project are the six member hospitals of Enabling Healthcare Across Networks of Central East Ontario. The project to consolidate their imaging data with the Sectra One Cloud package is expected to be completed in 2025.

Sectra has confirmed that the six hospitals will be utilizing Sectra One Cloud for this purpose. The contract between Sectra and the six hospitals is for providing Sectra One Cloud, ensuring a seamless transition and ongoing support for the hospitals' imaging needs.

This consolidation project does not seem to affect the use of Sectra One Cloud, as it was already mentioned as the solution for the consolidation. Nor does it appear to have any impact on the membership status of the hospitals within ENHANCE Ontario.

In conclusion, the consolidation of imaging for the six hospitals in Central East Ontario is a significant step towards improving collaboration and efficiency in healthcare services. With Sectra One Cloud, these hospitals are poised to deliver better care to their combined patient base of over 1.5 million people.
