Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary figure in heavy metal music, passed away earlier this month at the age of 76. His youngest son, Jack Osbourne, took to Instagram to pay tribute to his father.

In a short post, Jack expressed his love for his father, quoting a quote from Hunter S. Thompson that he attributed to Ozzy. The quote reads, "Life should not be a quest to find your way, but a celebration of your way." Jack mentioned that he hasn't wanted to post anything since his father's passing, but felt compelled to share this quote that encapsulates his father's zest for life.

Jack went on to say that his life with his father was a wild ride, not a quiet journey to the grave. He also mentioned that he had 14,501 days with his father, implying that he is counting the days since his father's birth.

The post concluded with the words, "That was my dad." Jack, who is 39 years old, was seen in public recently wearing a T-shirt featuring his late father's band, Black Sabbath.

In the post, Jack did not provide further details about his feelings or plans following his father's death, but he did express his love for his father. He described himself as part of a small group that got to call Ozzy Osbourne "Dad".

Ozzy Osbourne had been battling multiple diseases, and his death was a significant loss to the music industry and to his family. Jack's Instagram post serves as a poignant reminder of the life and legacy of the iconic rock star.
