Special event at the senior women's café in OecherLab
On Wednesday, September 10, from 2:30 PM to 4 PM, the Senior-*innen-Café will be hosting an event at OecherLab, Kapuzinergraben 19D. The topic of the event is "Easy & quick ticket purchase in naveo".
This event aims to provide a cozy atmosphere for attendees to exchange ideas over a cup of coffee, while learning about the benefits of digital mobility. The focus of the event will be on the naveo-app and the eTariff "eezy.nrw".
For those unfamiliar, the naveo-app is a successor to the avv.connect-app, and is offered by the Aachener Verkehrsverbund (AVV), along with ASEAG and other transport companies. Registration in naveo is required to use the eTariff.
The eTariff in the naveo-app eliminates the need for finding the right ticket, as users only need to check-in via the app before boarding. The app also enables users to plan routes, retrieve real-time departure times, and be informed about delays via push notification.
Moreover, the naveo-app simplifies the use of public transport for seniors through clear menus, customizable favorites, and intuitive operation. It also allows for the convenient purchase of digital tickets for bus and train.
The event will include a brief introduction to the naveo-app, followed by a live demonstration of ticket purchases and route queries. The price for journeys throughout NRW with the eTariff is automatically calculated in the naveo-app.
It's important to note that the naveo-app has a NRW-wide price cap, ensuring that no more than 58 euros are charged per month for journeys throughout NRW with the eTariff.
The event is specifically targeted at seniors who are interested in digital mobility. No registration is required for the event, so feel free to drop by and learn more about the naveo-app and how it can make your public transport experience easier and more convenient.
