West Bengal SSC Exam 2025: Key Information and Services for Candidates

The West Bengal School Service Commission (WB SSC) has announced the details for the State Level Selection Test (SLST) to be held in 2025. Over 5.65 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam, with approximately 3.19 lakh candidates sitting for the exam for Classes 9 and 10, and about 2.54 lakh candidates for Classes 11 and 12.

The written test will take place at 636 centres across the state, with 41 centres in Kolkata alone. Strict guidelines have been issued for the exam, including candidates reaching the exam centre by 10 am. Candidates are not allowed to carry smartwatches, calculators, or any other electronic devices inside the exam centres.

Admit cards for the WB SSC Exam 2025 will be available online at westbengalssc.com. Candidates will need to log in using their user ID and password to download their admit cards. After downloading, candidates should take a printout of the admit card as it is mandatory for entry into the exam hall, and candidates without it will not be permitted inside.

In Kolkata, the exam will be supported by special services provided by Kolkata Metro. On September 7 (Sunday), the Blue Line (Dakshineswar-Kavi Subhash) and Green Line (Howrah Maidan-Salt Lake Sector V) will provide early services to support candidates appearing for the SLST. However, it is not specified if these services will be available for candidates of Classes 11 and 12 only or for all candidates.

Every room at the exam centres will have a wall clock, and CCTV monitoring is compulsory at all centres. It is not mentioned if any specific guidelines or restrictions apply to these early Kolkata Metro services.

Candidates are advised to stay updated with the latest news and guidelines regarding the WB SSC Exam 2025. The West Bengal SSC Exam 2025 is an important opportunity for candidates to secure their positions in schools across the state. Good luck to all the candidates!
