Breaking News: Five High-Value Pedelecs Stolen in Bocholt

On Monday, August 18, 2025, unknown perpetrators committed five thefts of high-value Pedelecs in the Bocholt city area. The stolen vehicles were all of the Gazelle brand, black and grey in colour.

The Circular Police Authority Borken, responsible for the Bocholt area, has confirmed the incident but has not yet provided any new information about the identity of the perpetrators or the recovery of the stolen Pedelecs. They have, however, issued a call for information and are seeking witnesses to the crimes.

The crime scene was spread across several locations in Bocholt, including Neutorplatz, Königstraße, and Berliner Platz. The police officers responsible for communication with the media at the Borken police authority on 18.08.2025 were Sandra Biedermann, Leonie Dreier, Markus Hüls, Peter Lefering, Thorsten Ohm, Müzeyyen Sander, and Tina Schellberg.
