In the exciting world of Ligue 1, several teams have made their mark in the 2025/2026 season. Paris FC and Le Havre, two of the league's newcomers, have recently joined the fray, securing their first points in style.

Paris FC, backed by the LVMH-owning Arnault family, kicked off their home campaign at the Jean-Bouin stadium with a thrilling 3-2 victory against Metz. Ilan Kebbal, Paris FC's striker, scored twice in the match, with his second goal proving to be the decisive one. The win is expected to alleviate pressure on the team and allow them to play more freely.

Meanwhile, Le Havre also earned their first points in Ligue 1 by beating an injury-depleted Nice 3-1. Issa Soumaré scored the decisive goal for Le Havre in the fifth minute of extra time, capitalising on a risky move by the visiting 'keeper Yehvan Diouf, who went upfield for a corner at 2-1 down.

Despite these victories, Paris FC and Le Havre find themselves in the lower half of the table, with Paris FC in 14th place and Le Havre in 15th. The teams standing directly behind Lyon and PSG, who are currently neck and neck at the top with nine points each, is Stade Rennes, which ranks third.

Lyon, who have won all three of their league games after being relegated due to debts, are closely followed by Monaco, who are currently fourth with six points after a win on Sunday. Takumi Minamino scored a late winner for Monaco in a 3-2 match against Strasbourg, a result that Monaco's coach, Adi Hutter, believes sent out the wrong signal.

On the other hand, Marseille, who were second last year, have had a disappointing start to the season. They currently find themselves in 18th place with just three points. The team suffered a setback during their match against Nice, when Roberto De Zerbi's Marseille had English defender CJ Egan-Riley sent off for a bad tackle on 29 minutes. To add to their woes, Adrien Rabiot, a French international for Marseille, has been transfer-listed due to a recent dressing room fight.

Jonathan Rowe has also been sold by Marseille. The departure of Rowe, who was a key player for the team, is likely to have a significant impact on Marseille's performance in the coming games.

In a surprising move, Nice, who were visiting a North coast outfit, found themselves on the losing end against Le Havre. The team, who were missing several key players due to injuries, will be hoping to bounce back in their next game.

As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how these teams fare in the Ligue 1 2025/2026 season. With exciting matches and unexpected results, the competition promises to be as thrilling as ever.
