Studio Collaboration with Jon Hopkins at Abbey Road: "Their work is nothing short of astonishing"
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Grammy-nominated composer Jon Hopkins has created new music for Abbey Road Studios Mode, an exclusive audio experience available in the new Polestar 3.
Abbey Road Studios Mode, co-developed by Abbey Road and Bowers & Wilkins, features four unique presets: Intimate, Expansive, Open, and Energised. Hopkins was invited to work on this project, specifically in the legendary Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios.
For the Expansive preset, Hopkins adopted an improvisatory approach, aiming to capture the spacious and detailed sound of Studio Two. The result is a piece that beautifully embodies the legendary studio's ambiance.
In contrast, for the Intimate preset, Hopkins crafted a subtle, contemplative piece that perfectly suits its intended purpose.
Hopkins expressed his gratitude and awe for the opportunity to work at Abbey Road Studios, calling it a surreal and wonderful experience.
In addition to Hopkins' contributions, Florence Welch from Florence + The Machine was also invited to create two new tracks for the Abbey Road Studios Mode in the Polestar 3 project, representing the Intimate and Expansive presentations.
A producer mode in Abbey Road Studios Mode allows users to customise their audio experience, ensuring a personalised listening journey.
The collaboration between Abbey Road Studios and Bowers & Wilkins resulted in the development of Abbey Road Studios Mode, which was launched in Polestar 3 last week. This collaboration aims to showcase the unique sonic characteristics of Abbey Road Studios Mode in Polestar 3.
With Abbey Road Studios Mode available exclusively in Polestar 3 with a Bowers & Wilkins audio system, music lovers can now experience the magic of Abbey Road Studios in the comfort of their cars.
