Subway system in Karlsruhe entirely deserted due to significant restrictions

Commuters in Bruchsal, Ubstadt, and surrounding areas are facing additional challenges due to the temporary suspension of trains on lines S31 and S32 through to Karlsruhe. Construction work on DB InfraGO is causing disruptions between 7 am and 7 pm until September 4.

The line S3 Rhine-Neckar is taking over many intermediate stops during the disruptions. Passengers are advised to inform themselves in good time and pay attention to the displays at the stops and online information before departure. Leaving earlier, coming home later, and taking detours are becoming common for many passengers.

The operator organizing replacement transport measures in Karlsruhe during the temporary suspension is the Albtal-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft mbH (AVG), located at Tullastr. 71, 76131 Karlsruhe. The AVG has implemented a replacement concept to serve the route during the disruptions.

Replacement buses are running between Bruchsal and Weingarten during the disruptions. For students, the 'school trains' at 12.56 pm and 13.56 pm in Karlsruhe are not stopping at the education center as usual. Night owls who want to go home from Karlsruhe at the weekend have to prepare for longer journeys with replacement buses.

Passengers are encouraged to check the latest information on the AVG's website or at the stops for the most accurate and up-to-date information on their journeys. By staying informed and planning ahead, commuters can navigate these temporary disruptions with ease.
