Summer offensive by Russia has utterly collapsed.

After three and a half years of full-scale Russian aggression, the offensive campaign has come to an end, according to the General Staff of Ukraine. The General Staff's message, posted on Telegram, states that the campaign has resulted in virtually nothing for Russia.

The General Staff's report reveals that a total of 1201 tanks have been destroyed or damaged, along with 2174 armored combat vehicles. Additionally, 7303 artillery systems have met a similar fate. These figures underscore the military setbacks Russia has faced during the conflict.

The General Staff's message also highlights the human cost of the conflict. Over 290,000 soldiers from Russia's forces have been killed or wounded since the beginning of 2025, a stark reminder of the devastating impact of the war on both sides.

The General Staff notes that the occupiers have failed to gain full control of any major Ukrainian city. Furthermore, the General Staff states that the occupiers' figures on occupied territories and settlements are significantly inflated.

The report also addresses Russia's constant violations of international humanitarian law. The General Staff states that Russia's "precision strikes" often result in the loss of innocent Ukrainian civilian lives. The General Staff's message also refutes Russia's claims of destroying Ukraine's missile industry, describing these claims as a propaganda illusion.

In a particularly concerning revelation, the General Staff states that Russian "Iskanders" often fall on civilian areas, being falsely claimed as Ukrainian military command posts or bases of foreign mercenaries. This allegation suggests a disregard for civilian safety and a willingness to fabricate the facts to justify military actions.

The General Staff's message concludes by criticising General Valery Gerasimov, who continues to serve as the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. The General Staff describes General Gerasimov's final report as a typical example of aggressive Kremlin lies and arrogance.

The General Staff's report serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the human and military cost of the war. The General Staff's message calls for accountability and transparency in the actions of all parties involved in the conflict.
