Summertime Activities at St. Spiritus Institute
The St. Spiritus socio-cultural centre is gearing up for an action-packed summer with a variety of activities for children. The childrenβs theater performances, organised by the group "Theater Spielwiese", promise an entertaining line-up, including "The Magic Bean", "Ratzensparrow", "Alice from Wonderland", and the famous seven goats.
For older children (7 years old and above), there's an opportunity to participate in weekly craft workshops. These workshops, held from Tuesday to Thursday, from 10 am to 12 pm, offer a range of creative activities such as printing, felt-making, drum-making, and book workshop (marbling and processing paper into folders).
Tickets for the theater performances can be purchased on-site at St. Spiritus starting at 9:30 am, with advanced reservations available by calling 03834 85364444. The cost for adults is 7β¬ (5β¬ reduced), and for children is 5β¬. Accompanying persons of groups of 10 or more have free admission, and parents or grandparents can participate if there are enough seats available.
The theater performances take place on the courtyard stage, but may move indoors if the weather is poor. Schnuppe puppet theater fans can enjoy "At the Fire Station, the Coffee Gets Cold" and the Greifswald premiere of "Island Ahoi". A children's theater performance takes place every Friday at 10 am.
