Support for the Children's Fire Brigade in Lünen through Network Frau e.V., who gifted a Gokart
In the heart of Luenen, Germany, the "Strong Children, Strong Future" campaign by Netzwerk Frau e.V. took a significant step forward on August 21, 2025. The campaign, dedicated to supporting family and women's projects in the city, made a donation to the Luenen Children's Fire Brigade.
The Luenen Children's Fire Brigade, known for its mission to teach fire protection work, team spirit, a sense of responsibility, and social interaction, received a new go-kart. This addition not only brings another playful element to their offer but also promotes movement and community spirit.
Madeleine Zippro, the 1st chairwoman of Netzwerk Frau e.V. Luenen, stated that the donation was intended to be both useful and fun. Sandra Babucke, the deputy city children's fire chief, expressed her delight at the commitment, stating that it makes promoting young talent enjoyable.
During the handover ceremony, the children had the opportunity to see a fire engine and a turntable ladder up close. Members of the association also had the chance to inspect the emergency vehicle. The event was attended by members of the Children's Fire Brigade, the association, and the volunteer fire department.
The donated go-kart is part of a series of projects supported by Netzwerk Frau e.V. in Luenen. The club that organized the fundraising for the purchase of the new go-kart for the Lünen children's fire brigade is the Förderverein der Jugendfeuerwehr Lünen.
