Stolen E-bikes and E-scooter: 31-year-old Man Arrested in Bremen

In an ongoing investigation, a 31-year-old man has been provisionally arrested for the theft of high-end E-bikes and an E-scooter in Bremen. The incident took place on Sunday, when two E-bikes and an E-scooter were stolen from a garage on August-Bebel-Allee.

The theft was reported by a 75-year-old woman, and the stolen items were later located near an address. A responding patrol went to the location and found an E-scooter and an E-bike. The police used a GPS tracker installed on one of the E-bikes to locate it.

Upon arrival, the patrol encountered the 31-year-old's friend who stated that the bike was stored in his garage. The 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene. Officers also found a blank-firing pistol during a search of the 31-year-old's residence, but the police are not releasing any further details about it at this time.

The police have filed charges against the 31-year-old for aggravated theft. The search of the 31-year-old's residence is a continuation of the investigation into the stolen E-bikes and E-scooter. During the search, additional stolen items were discovered.

The police are urging anyone with information related to the case to contact the Bremen Police Press Office. The blank-firing pistol found during the search is not related to any ongoing firearm investigations. The 31-year-old man is currently under investigation for multiple charges, including aggravated theft.

The police are reminding residents to secure their properties and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. They advise installing GPS trackers on valuable items to increase the chances of recovery in case of theft.
