In the coastal town of Ueckermünde, Germany, a 33-year-old German man was arrested on August 14, 2025, following a series of shoplifting incidents at local supermarkets.

The suspect, whose identity was known to the police, had a prior record and was previously known to the authorities. The first incident occurred in a supermarket in Ueckermünde, where the man allegedly stole goods worth approximately 170 euros and additional technical devices worth an estimated 650 euros. Despite a previous ban, the suspect disregarded the restriction and was caught in the act of stealing goods worth approximately 80 euros in a second supermarket.

Following these incidents, the suspect was charged with trespassing and theft. He was taken into custody due to committing multiple offenses in a short period of time. The new facts provided do not mention the specific value of the goods stolen in the subsequent incidents or any additional charges against the suspect.
