Suspected intruders have been identifiied by law enforcement.
In the Hamburg district of Hohenfelde, a residential burglary occurred between August 4, 2025, at 21:00 and August 7, 2025, at 15:30. The initial investigation on-site was handled by the Criminal Duty Office (LKA 26), but no suspect was found initially.
On August 8, 2025, a significant development took place. A 17-year-old suspect has been identified in connection with the crime. The officers of the State Criminal Police Office for special burglary (LKA 19/Castle) made the arrest on the spot, and the suspect was taken to the detention center.
The Public Prosecutor's Office in Hamburg is involved in the application for a warrant for the youth's arrest in relation to the Hohenfelde burglary. The responsible authority for the further investigation is the criminal investigation department of the Hamburg Police, with LKA 19 leading the investigation.
During the investigation, the Criminal Technical Investigation (LKA 31) provided support and secured evidence at the crime scene. It was discovered that the intruder forced entry through a window, searched the house, and stole jewelry and electronic devices.
The same 17-year-old is now suspected of being responsible for the residential burglary in Hohenfelde. Evidence was secured at the crime scene during the investigation, and a warrant was issued for the suspect's arrest.
