SWC's CEO, Andrew Webley, announces an influx of over $3.7 million in capital, change of accountant, and BTC acquisitions.
In an exciting turn of events, the Smarter Web Company (SWC) has announced a significant shift in its auditing services and a substantial capital raise. CEO Andrew Webley revealed that the company's auditing services will transition from Adler Shine to PKF Littlejohn, effective from August 2025. This change coincides with a £3.7 million (approximately $3.7 million USD) capital raise, aiming to support SWC's long-term growth.
The news comes as the company continues to make strides in its international expansion and growth of Bitcoin holdings. SWC is now proud to hold a total of 2,440 BTC, a significant increase from previous holdings. This expansion in Bitcoin reserves has earned SWC a ranking of 25th on the global Bitcoin Treasuries list.
CEO Andrew Webley, who recently attended the Bitcoin Asia conference in Hong Kong, described the change in auditors as a natural evolution. He praised the SWC X-Community for their research, mutual support, and persuasiveness, stating that their efforts have been instrumental in the company's success.
The past four months have seen over 4,100 new members join SWC's X-Community, a testament to the company's growing influence and appeal. During the Bitcoin Asia conference, Webley was supported by industry leader Jesse Myers, further strengthening SWC's position in the digital currency market.
Despite the volatility on both stock and crypto markets, Webley remains confident in implementing SWC's strategy. He acknowledged the challenges but emphasized that the company's long-term strategy remains on track. Webley ended his weekly update on an optimistic note, expressing confidence in further building SWC's Bitcoin position.
The upcoming months are set to be busy for SWC, with key milestones including capital raising, the change in auditors, and the expansion of Bitcoin reserves. Webley thanked shareholders and the broader community for their continued support, looking forward to a promising future for the company.
