Swimming pool opening scheduled for August 8 following ground maintenance
After a nearly three-week cleaning and maintenance period, the local leisure pool is set to reopen on August 8th. During the closure, the pools were drained, and the tiles were thoroughly cleaned using high-pressure cleaners and scrubbers.
Upon reopening, entrance prices for adults will see an increase. Three-hour tickets and daily passes will cost an additional Euro, while children under 15 will see a 50-cent increase. The price for the Seepferdchen course, a swimming course for beginners, has been adjusted to 160 Euros.
The decision to change the entrance fees of the outdoor pools is typically made by the operators or managing institutions of the respective pools. For example, price changes in facilities like the Dessauer Waldbad are implemented by its operators.
Until then, the discounted summer tariff of 15 Euros for daily passes will apply. Tickets for the sauna area will see a price increase after the completion of the outdoor construction work. Adults will pay an additional 2 Euros, while children will pay an extra 1 Euro. Similarly, the price for daily passes in the sauna area will increase by the same amounts after the construction work is completed.
The leisure pool remains competitive with other pools in M-V, especially with family passes. Larger projects this year include replacing the whirlpool, expanding the gastronomy area in the wellness section, and filter renovation.
In addition to the price changes, the Seepferdchen course now includes two additional units. The VIP-Card can provide up to a 20% discount on entrance prices in the future.
The exterior glass facade, stairs, and pool edges were cleaned, and repairs, maintenance, and technical inspections were carried out during the closure. Larger projects, such as the renovation of the filters, will be undertaken in the future.
The 90-minute short-time ticket and early swimming prices will increase by 50 cents each upon reopening. The leisure pool remains a popular choice for locals, offering a range of facilities and competitive prices, especially for families.
