Sydney Sweeney reportedly in a casual relationship with Scooter Braun following an ended engagement
In a recent turn of events, rumours have been circulating about the relationship between music mogul Scooter Braun and actress Sydney Sweeney. The pair reportedly met at Lauren Sanchez Bezos and Jeff Bezos' wedding in June.
Despite the speculation, insiders claim that their relationship remains "casual". Neither Sweeney nor Braun have been labelling each other as exes, according to reports.
Braun, who has been instrumental in the careers of artists like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, addressed speculation about his relationship with Sweeney during a July appearance on Danielle Robay's "Question Everything" podcast. He addressed the rumours surrounding Taylor Swift's 2022 song "Vigilante S---" and denied that it was about his divorce from Cohen. Cohen, too, has stated that he never thought the song was about their divorce.
Interestingly, Braun has a tattoo on his finger that reads 'same team' as a testament to his ongoing relationship with Cohen, despite their divorce. The two share three children together.
Meanwhile, Sweeney confirmed in May that she had called off her engagement to Jonathan Davino. The actress deleted a kissing Instagram photo with her fiancé as breakup rumours swirled, and later revealed that she was single and no longer planning a wedding in an interview with The Times of London.
A source told TMZ that Sweeney and Braun have been on "multiple dates". People magazine also reported that the pair are "casually hooking up". However, there is no specific source that gives exact information about when the two allegedly began their relationship.
Sweeney and Davino worked together on the actress's hit 2023 movie "Anyone But You". Despite sparking dating rumours during the press tour for the film, both Sweeney and Powell denied the speculation.
