TCL designates Dx Hi-Tech as sole distributor in Bangladesh
In a significant move, TCL Global Marketing Company Limited has appointed DX Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. as the exclusive importer, manufacturer, and distributor of TCL products in Bangladesh. This partnership aims to deliver TCL's innovative and high-quality products to Bangladeshi consumers through a trusted channel.
Under the agreement, DX Hi-Tech will hold sole authorization for TCL operations in the Bangladesh market. This includes the import, manufacturing, and distribution of TCL's extensive product portfolio, which includes televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and other home appliances.
TCL, a global leader in panel manufacturing, television, and air conditioner production, has urged Bangladeshi consumers, dealers, and retailers to only purchase TCL products from authorized sources. The company will not recognize or provide support for products obtained from sources outside the agreement with DX Hi-Tech.
In addition, TCL has taken a strict stance against the misuse of its name and logo in the Bangladesh market. The brand has warned against such practices and will take appropriate action to protect its reputation.
The agreement was signed by Zhang Guorong, General Manager of TCL APBG, and Dewan Kanon, Founder and CEO of DX Hi-Tech Industries, at TCL's Global Headquarters in Shenzhen, China. Since the collaboration with DX Hi-Tech Industries Ltd., TCL has actively expanded its presence in Bangladesh, as evidenced by the display of TCL Corporation's logo on consumer electronics like smartphones in Dhaka as of October 2024, indicating ongoing market activity and brand promotion there.
With operations in more than 160 countries, TCL continues to expand its global footprint. This partnership with DX Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. is a testament to TCL's commitment to delivering quality products to consumers worldwide.
