Tech firm Navi Technologies takes on a fresh identity, now known as Navi Limited; founder Sachin Bansal says the new moniker reflects the company's current status.
Navi Technologies Limited, a leading fintech company based in India, has announced a significant change - it will now be known as Navi Limited. This rebranding comes two weeks after the company successfully raised Rs 170 crore (approximately $20 million) in a debt financing round.
The change in name aligns with Navi Limited's evolution, reflecting its focus on being more integrated and customer-centric. According to Sachin Bansal, the Founder and Executive Chairman of Navi Group, Navi Limited is not just a technology provider, but also a full-fledged destination for financial services for its customers.
Sachin Bansal transitioned to the role of executive chairman earlier in February, and Abhishek Dwivedi took over as CEO of Navi Finserv at the same time. Rajiv Naresh, who was named CEO of Navi Technologies at that time, is now the MD & CEO of Navi Limited.
The new name, Navi Limited, signifies simplification and scale, which are core to the company's philosophy. Navi Limited positions itself as an integrated, customer-centric institution encompassing lending, insurance, asset management, and UPI services.
The financing round was led by PhillipCapital, with participation from NDX Financial Services, Arpee Group, and others. The current board of Navi Limited, founded by Sachin Bansal, is not specified in the available search results.
In a statement, Sachin Bansal said, "Navi Limited is not just a technology provider, but a full-fledged destination for financial services for our customers. We are committed to providing seamless, customer-centric financial solutions, and our new name reflects this commitment."
With this rebranding, Navi Limited aims to solidify its position as a leading player in the Indian fintech market, offering a comprehensive suite of financial services to its customers.
