In an unexpected incident on a Saturday afternoon, a 19-year-old individual was rescued from a swimming accident in Tannenhausen, an area near the East Frisian town of Aurich.

The lifeguard who performed the rescue operation was identified as Florian Witte. Witte, who was on duty at the time, acted quickly and effectively, saving the young man's life.

Following the rescue, the 19-year-old was airlifted to a hospital by a rescue helicopter for further treatment.
