Telecommunications company Telekom-Infomobil announces plans to expand fiber optic infrastructure in Bonn, specifically in the district of Beuel, during Q35 and Q36.
In the heart of Bonn, Deutsche Telekom is set to expand its modern fiber optic network, with a consultation event scheduled for Thursday, September 4, 2025, in Mehlem.
Citizens in Mehlem will have the opportunity to meet with the consultation team from Telekom at AgnesstraΓe 58, 53225 Bonn (Beuel) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The team will be on hand to provide information about the fiber optic network expansion, technical support, and suitable tariffs.
Katja Kunicke, the spokesperson for this event, encourages residents to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the benefits of the fiber optic connection. According to Telekom, the new connection is future-proof, robust against external influences such as water or power, saves energy, and is kinder to the climate, compared to the existing copper network.
