Thanksgiving Day Attire and Personal Holiday Reflections
As the autumn leaves fall and the chill in the air grows, preparations for the upcoming holidays are in full swing. This year, the writer has planned a cosy Thanksgiving day outfit that is both stylish and comfortable.
The centrepiece of the ensemble is a neutral sweater by Topshop, featuring side zippers lined with fabric to prevent cold contact. Paired with a Madewell v-neck tee, the sweater adds a touch of warmth and seasonal flair. Complementing the top half of the outfit, the writer will be wearing Madewell jeans, currently on sale, providing a comfortable, stretchy fit. To complete the look, ankle booties, old and similar versions of which can be found at Madewell, Fortress of Inca, and under $40, will be worn.
The writer's family has come to realise that the most valuable gift during these challenging times is simply being together. As such, they will be celebrating Thanksgiving with Aaron's family next week.
On the other hand, the writer's side of the family has decided to forego Christmas presents this year. Meanwhile, Aaron's side continues the tradition of exchanging gifts at Thanksgiving.
In a bid to style the sweater differently, the writer has been given a bag by ONA, which will accompany the outfit. Similar bags, featuring both a zip top and an open top, made responsibly, are also available.
As the writer takes a break from blogging next week to spend quality time with family, she encourages everyone to cherish the moments spent with loved ones during the holiday season. After all, it's the memories that truly make these occasions special.
