The Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) has announced that the Eric-Warburg Bridge will reopen on September 8, 2025, for a special technical inspection. This reopening, scheduled for 8 p.m., will last approximately two hours, with the inspection taking place during this period.

The inspection is a crucial part of maintaining the bridge's future mobility, ensuring it remains safe and functional for road users. The HPA is committed to minimising any inconvenience caused by the inspection, and temporary traffic disruptions are unavoidable due to the necessary infrastructure maintenance and renovation work.

During the inspection, the Eric-Warburg Bridge will be opened in its full state, and the route will not be usable. After the inspection, the bridge will return to normal usage.

The responsible authority, the Hamburg Port Authority, has organised an inspection program for the reopening date of the Eric-Warburg Bridge on September 8, 2025. The inspection will be carried out on this date, with the inspection taking place on Monday, September 8, 2025.

All measures will be taken to ensure the reopening and inspection proceed smoothly, with minimal disruption to road users. The HPA thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation during this important maintenance period.
