The design process for the Moritz-Lang-Haus in Dotzheim is underway

The Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden has announced that the construction of the new Moritz-Lang House is progressing well, with the scheduled completion slated for autumn 2026. This press release marks an exciting step forward in the city's efforts to improve its care landscape.

The Moritz-Lang House, once completed, will accommodate 104 care places, offering a home with heart, mind, and modern equipment, as described by Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende. This unique facility in Wiesbaden is being constructed to address the need for improved care for the elderly.

Mayor Mende and Social Affairs Director Dr. Patricia Becher have expressed their pleasure with the project, looking forward to future residents finding a cozy and dignified home in the new Moritz-Lang House. They also expressed their gratitude to WiBau and all those involved in the construction.

Dr. Becher emphasized the urgency of the project, stating that something needed to be done, and it needed to be done quickly. The previous Moritz-Lang House no longer meets today's structural and care standards, making the construction of the new facility essential.

The construction of the new Moritz-Lang House is a joint responsibility of the state capital Wiesbaden and the Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft (SEG). The city of Wiesbaden looks forward to the further course of construction, anticipating the solemn inauguration scheduled for 2026.

The Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden can be contacted at Schlossplatz 6, 65183 Wiesbaden, for any questions regarding the Moritz-Lang House project. Citizens are encouraged to contact the responsible department or office for more information.

It is worth noting that the Director Uwe Ortseifen and the team of the Moritz-Lang House are recognized for their dedication to giving time, attention, and human closeness in their care for the elderly. Their work is highly valued in the community.

The new Moritz-Lang House is expected to significantly improve the care landscape in Wiesbaden, providing a modern and compassionate facility for the city's elderly residents.
