The DOLL is fortifying a potentially hazardous location at the 7th Height Ildehausen.
Last Wednesday, a hazardous situation occurred on federal autobahn 7 near Ildehausen, caused by a detached roof box from a car's roof rack. The incident resulted in damage to a following vehicle, but fortunately, the occupants of both vehicles appeared to have no personal injuries.
The initial response came from a civilian patrol from the Financial Control Black Work office of the Main Customs Office Brunswick. They discovered numerous items scattered across the lanes, causing a potential hazard for other drivers. A female customs officer and her colleagues took immediate safety measures and rerouted traffic to ensure the safety of other road users.
Customs resumed its journey after about 20 minutes, following the cleanup and further on-site measures taken by the police, who arrived shortly after the incident. The police subsequently reopened the autobahn after ensuring the area was safe.
