In a move that's shaking up the large tablet market, OnePlus Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., better known as OnePlus, has introduced its latest device, the OnePlus Pad 3.

The OnePlus Pad 3 boasts a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, surpassing the 60Hz screen of the iPad Air. This feature ensures smoother visuals and a more responsive user experience.

OnePlus has also made strides in storage capacity. While the iPad Air is still stuck on a 128GB base storage, the OnePlus Pad 3 offers a base variant with 256GB storage, providing more space for your files and apps.

The OnePlus Pad 3's battery life is another area where it outshines the iPad Air. With a 12,140 mAh battery, the OnePlus Pad 3 lasts longer, ensuring you can use your tablet for extended periods without worrying about running out of power.

In terms of performance, the OnePlus Pad 3 delivers frame/battery and frame/temperature stability figures that are unmatched on another Android device. Its vapor chamber cooling system does a better job at keeping the device cool under stress than the iPad Air.

The OnePlus Pad 3 also offers a full-fledged macOS experience on the tablet when remotely running a Mac, thanks to the O+ Connect feature. This feature allows remote running of a Mac, with all files and software, screen mirroring, remote file management, and the ability to remotely run a Mac.

The OnePlus Pad 3's screen is more pixel-dense than the iPad Air's, capable of matching the iPad Air's brightness on an average day but surpassing it by 50% in High Brightness Mode.

The OnePlus Pad 3 has a slight edge in terms of weight and dimensions. Despite being 8% heavier than the iPad Air, it is also shorter and thinner due to the choice of screen aspect ratio for each brand.

Pricing-wise, the OnePlus Pad 3 is priced similarly to the iPad Air, but its superior features make it a more attractive option for many consumers. For instance, the OnePlus Pad 3 offers a 256GB storage option for less than the iPad Air's 256GB price.

Moreover, the OnePlus Pad 3 supports LDAC and LHDC audio codecs for wireless earbuds, providing an immersive audio experience. The tablet also comes with eight audio units that sound terrific.

Apple is currently active in the 13-inch tablet segment, but it seems OnePlus is aiming to challenge this dominance with the OnePlus Pad 3. With its impressive features and competitive pricing, the OnePlus Pad 3 is certainly a tablet to watch in the large tablet market.
