In the past week, several incidents have occurred in the South Hesse region, prompting various investigations and appeals for witnesses.

On Tuesday morning, a hit-and-run incident took place on the L3195 between Rabenstein and Ulmbach. A motorcyclist, involved in the accident, was hospitalized with minor injuries. The hit-and-run driver was reportedly in a yellow vehicle and fled the scene after causing the incident. Witnesses with information about the incident or the vehicle's origin are asked to contact the Southeast Hesse Highway Police Station at 06181 9010-0.

On the same day, a 41-year-old man was injured on the A45 highway in Langenselbold. He had to swerve to avoid an object, resulting in approximately €2,500 worth of damage to his vehicle and causing him to strike his head on the side window. The object was reportedly a type of tarp, and witnesses with information about the incident or the object's origin are asked to call the Southeast Hesse Highway Police Station at 06181 9010-0.

In a separate incident on Tuesday, a tractor loader was stolen from an extension road of the Industrial Street towards the Waechtersbach wastewater treatment plant. The tractor loader, valued at around 10,000 euros, was last seen in the area on May 26, 2025, and the Criminal Police can be reached at 06181 100-123 for any tips.

On Wednesday in Langenselbold, a man was riding a bicycle against traffic on the A45 highway, leading to his removal by the Southeast Hesse Highway Police.

In Erlensee/Langendiebach, on Saturday, two unknown suspects, aged 30-35, stole a 79-year-old woman's wallet near "Am Rathaus." Anyone with information about the incident or the suspects is asked to contact the police at 069 8098-5699.

In a different incident, a 30-year-old man in a Hyundai i20 was involved in a hit-and-run on Schulwald Street in Spielberg. The man sustained minor rib injuries as a result of the incident. Witnesses who may have been endangered during the incident are asked to call 06181 9010-0.

Lastly, a man was taken to the police station for investigation under suspicion of fencing.
