Thirty start-ups enroll in our Facebook for Startups Accelerator program focusing on AI for Energy sector
In a significant step towards a sustainable future, Facebook has announced the participation of 29 innovative startups in its Accelerator: AI for Energy programme. The goal of this initiative is to accelerate the development of AI-driven solutions for sustainable and reliable energy.
The programme, which is part of Facebook's commitment to a sustainable future, welcomes startups from North America and Europe. These startups are developing cutting-edge solutions in electricity generation, grid operations, and flexibility using AI.
Twindo, for instance, helps renewable energy construction and maintenance projects avoid delays and cost overruns for scalable operations. Other startups like reLi energy provide battery operators with advanced analytics and cost-based optimization, while Pila builds a modular battery mesh for resilient, intelligent grid assets.
Some startups focus on optimizing energy usage and costs. Cedalio helps companies control energy costs and eliminate manual work, while Tewke provides an intelligent home energy platform to lower energy usage and costs. Enkel, an EV charging platform, uses algorithmic trading at its core to manage electricity consumption and demand-side flexibility.
Othersphere deploys sustainable infrastructure using a novel spatial economics platform, while Gorilla empowers energy retailers to reinvent their offerings to align financial and net-zero goals. Delfos enables efficient and predictable energy generation for renewable energy asset owners, and DaisyChain Energy manages energy for building revenue and savings.
The programme also includes startups focused on grid operations. Spark AI offers an AI planning and workflow tool for large-scale energy infrastructure developers. PravaΜh optimizes grid operations, cutting utilities' power costs using ML, and Podero GmbH helps lower electricity prices by steering flexible devices and trading their power on energy markets.
In addition, startups like Gridcog provide flexible, powerful, accurate, and accessible modelling solutions for flexibility assets. Salient uses AI and climate expertise for accurate long-range weather forecasts, and Monalee builds AI OS for distributed home energy, solar, batteries, and EV chargers.
Derapi connects to distributed energy resources for data and control, and Dili uses AI to accelerate new energy construction. Ento provides AI intelligence and APIs for buildings to turn raw energy data into real savings and compliance at scale, and Gilytics AG helps to standardize the optimal planning and routing of energy infrastructure.
MyPebble helps enterprises optimize cloud for AI workloads, saving costs and energy, and LoΜd offers grid-aware energy intelligence that optimizes data centers for risks, costs, and compliance. Rock Rabbit offers an AI platform for green building incentives, and Tilt Energy is a 100% software-based platform to manage electricity consumption and demand-side flexibility.
The 10-12 week programme offers dedicated mentorship, hands-on technical support, access to AI tools, and Facebook Cloud infrastructure. Facebook looks forward to supporting these 29 companies as they build the future of energy.
This diverse group of startups includes Aperio Space, AutonomIQ, Biovox, Energy Robotics, Illutherm, Inflabi, MAGNOTHERM, MimoSense, Modulux3D, PanocularAI, Revoltech, Sanctuary, TwinWatt, SymBiotic, Wingcopter, and Zenaris, which develop various sustainable and reliable energy solutions including AI-driven innovations and energy efficiency technologies.
The programme does not specify any deadlines for registration, so startups based in North America and Europe are encouraged to apply and be a part of this exciting journey towards a sustainable and reliable energy future.
