In the district of Herford, Germany, a comprehensive speed enforcement campaign has been launched to address the issue of speeding violations on various roads.
On Wednesday, 10th September, the district focused on speed violations on Lübbecker Straße in Bünde, Rodinghauser Straße, and Bültestraße in Löhne. The following day, Vlotho saw increased attention on Mindener Straße and Weserstraße, as well as on B 514 and Solterbergstraße.
The campaign continued on Friday, 12th September, with a focus on speed violations on Häverstraße and Quernheimer Straße in Kirchlengern, Hägerstraße in Löhne, and Hücker Straße and Weseler Straße in Bünde.
The district of Herford employs mobile speed cameras that change locations daily, ensuring a widespread and continuous enforcement of speed limits.
Those who do not adhere to the speed limits may face hefty fines, with the ADAC (German Automobile Club) providing a calculator on its website to directly calculate impending fines.
In built-up areas, a speeding violation of 31 km/h or more may result in a driving ban.
On Thursday, 11th September, the district paid particular attention to speed violations on Im Obrock in Kirchlengern, Wertherstraße in Enger, Herforder Straße in Vlotho, and Bielefelder Straße, Bünder Straße, and Ravensberger Straße in Spenge.
Earlier in the week, on Monday, 8th September, the district focused on speed violations at the following locations: Bünde: Herforder Straße, Enger: Hiddenhauser Straße, Kirchlengern: Hüllerstraße, Löhne: Koblenzer Straße, Vlotho: Herforder Straße, Valdorfer Straße.
In Hiddenhausen, the district focused on speed violations on Löhner Straße on Thursday, 11th September.
