Today - Run for a Cause: Typing Marathon for Stem Cell Donation at Vacha, 30th August 25
The Vulcano Run, a popular obstacle run in the town of Vacha, is set to host a unique event on August 30, 2025. The Gute Laune Sport e.V.'s Vulcano Run will bring not only new highlights and plenty of action but also an opportunity for individuals to make a significant difference.
A stem cell donation typing action will take place at the Vacha market square as part of the Vulcano Run. This event, organised by the association for bone marrow and stem cell donations (VKS), is free and open to individuals aged between 16 and 45.
To participate, potential donors must be in good health and not yet registered in another donor database. The typing action will take place from 12 PM to 2 PM at the supply tent of the DRK on the Vacha market square. The organisers, DKMS, have prepared 50 tests for this special occasion.
The stem cell donation typing action is a separate event from the Vulcano Run race. It requires only a few minutes of your time, making it an easy and impactful way to contribute to the cause.
