Türkiye's automotive industry is set to make a significant impact at IAA Mobility 2025, taking place in Munich. Two major players, Togg and Renault, will be showcasing their new electric models at the event.

Hyundai, a South Korean automaker with a long-standing presence in Türkiye since 1997, is also set to make waves at the show. The company is preparing to enter the electric vehicle (EV) era from its Kocaeli-based plant, with plans to reveal a near-production concept of its first fully electric vehicle, which will be manufactured in İzmit starting in 2026.

Togg, a domestic electric car brand from Türkiye, will make its first appearance at an international auto show at IAA Mobility 2025. The company, which began deliveries in Türkije with the T10X in 2023, will showcase its fastback model, the T10F, and SUV, the T10X, at the event. Togg's participation in IAA Mobility 2025 marks its first step towards European expansion, with its first export destination being Germany, home to 1.5 million Turkish citizens.

Renault will also unveil the sixth and most ambitious generation of its Clio, a model produced in Bursa, at IAA Mobility 2025. The new Renault Clio model was previewed in Paris last week and will be publicly displayed for the first time in Munich.

Other major exhibitors at the event include smart, which will present the new electric smart #5 SUV on a European auto show for the first time. However, it should be noted that the manufacturing location of the smart #5 SUV is not Istanbul, unlike Togg's electric vehicles.

IAA Mobility 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark event for Türkiye's automotive industry, with Togg's bold entrance and new models from Renault and Hyundai. The event is a testament to Türkiye's growing role in the global EV market.
