Top executive in packaging equipment industry relocates business to Wiesbaden

Wiesbaden, a city committed to fostering a diverse and innovative economic structure, has secured a significant win with the settlement of Dienst Packsystems. The internationally renowned machine engineering company, specialising in packaging solutions for various industries, is relocating its entire production to Wiesbaden.

The property at Hohenstaufenstraße 8, previously vacant after the company Stahlgruber moved out, was acquired by the state capital Wiesbaden in the fall of 2024. Following renovation and maintenance measures, the building was allocated to Dienst Packsystems in a targeted manner. Further conversions for a tailored use were implemented in recent months in cooperation between the Property Office and Dienst Packsystems.

Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende stated that this settlement strengthens Wiesbaden's economic structure, while Economic Affairs Commissioner Christiane Hinninger described the move as a strong signal for the attractiveness of Wiesbaden's economic location. Andreas Kowol, Building Commissioner, added that mediating the Hohenstaufenstraße property showcases the importance of active and committed area management.

Founded in 1988, Dienst Packsystems has established itself as the world market leader in the production of packaging machines for frozen pizzas. The company supplies manufacturers of food and non-food articles on all continents. With its relocation to Wiesbaden, Dienst Packsystems will employ around 100 permanent employees in the city.

Dienst Packsystems is not only a traditional company but also an innovator in the field of packaging and automation solutions. The company's settlement in Wiesbaden is a contribution to making the city an even more attractive place to work and live.
