Sikandar Raza Tops ICC Men's ODI All-Rounder Rankings

In a significant shift in the International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings, Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza has claimed the top spot in the ODI all-rounder rankings. Raza's rise in the rankings is a testament to his impressive performances in Zimbabwe's two ODIs against Sri Lanka.

Raza, who overtook Afghanistan's Azmatullah Omarzai to become the top-ranked all-rounder, now boasts a career-best all-rounder rating of over 300 points. His rise has been meteoric, as he has moved up an impressive 26 places in the rankings since the start of the year.

Ben Curran, a teammate of Raza, is the biggest mover in any category in the ODI rankings. Curran made back-to-back half-centuries against Sri Lanka, propelling him up the rankings. He is currently not ranked among the top all-rounders, but his performances are certainly ones to watch.

Meanwhile, in the ODI bowler rankings, Keshav Maharaj has maintained his position as the top-ranked bowler with a rating of 690 points. Maharaj's rise to the top was due to his stellar performance against England on September 2, 2025, where he took 4 wickets for 22 runs.

Maharaj is closely followed by Afghanistan's Rashid Khan, who is ranked fifth with a rating of 640 points. Maheesh Theekshana from Sri Lanka is ranked second with a rating of 659 points, while Kuldeep Yadav from India is ranked third with 650 points.

The top 10 of the ICC men's ODI batting rankings includes players from India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland, West Indies, and Afghanistan. The top-ranked batter is Shubman Gill from India, with a rating of 784.

Elsewhere in the all-rounder rankings, Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton has moved up 14 places, while Wiaan Mulder has moved up 10 places. Janith Liyanage from Sri Lanka has moved up 19 places, and Dilshan Madushanka has moved up 15 places. Gudakesh Motie from West Indies is ranked tenth with a rating of 605 points, and Bernard Scholtz from South Africa is ranked fourth with a rating of 644 points.

Wanindu Hasaranga from Sri Lanka is ranked ninth among ODI bowlers with a rating of 607 points, and Matt Henry from New Zealand is ranked seventh with a rating of 622 points.

In conclusion, the ICC rankings have undergone a significant shake-up, with Sikandar Raza claiming the top spot in the ODI all-rounder rankings. Maharaj continues to dominate the ODI bowler rankings, while the batting rankings remain a closely contested affair.
