Traffic Management: Temporary Arrests Conclude Following Provisional Intervention by Law Enforcement
A 38-year-old man from Castrop-Rauxel was arrested by the police in Recklinghausen on Monday evening. Witnesses reported the driver's erratic behaviour, including running red lights and speeding on Castroper Straรe.
The driver, who was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, was unable to produce a valid driver's license. Officers stopped the driver on Zechenstraรe, Recklinghausen, and subsequently provisionally arrested him.
Upon searching the vehicle, several packages containing suspected drugs, drug paraphernalia, and suspected counterfeit money were found. The vehicle and evidence were seized.
