Traffic Regulation Equilibrium on Roadways L755 and L637 (Political News)
In a bid to ensure road safety, the Paderborn Police conducted speed and passage control checks on the L755 (Bollerbornstraße) and the L637 in Paderborn District on April 6th, as part of the ongoing #LEBEN campaign.
During these checks, eight speed violations were detected on the L637, with one motorcyclist measured at 31 km/h over the permitted 100 km/h. This individual now faces a fine of 200 euros and a point in Flensburg. No new fines or points in Flensburg were reported for any other motorcyclists or car drivers.
On the L755, fourteen speed violations were detected, including motorcyclists who had crossed the L755 before the ban and car drivers. However, no new instances of driving without a license were mentioned.
A significant incident occurred on April 6th when a 49-year-old Opel driver from Höxter was stopped by the police due to suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Despite no new cases of suspected driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs being reported, the 49-year-old was taken to hospital in Bad Driburg after suffering a circulatory collapse during the control. A blood sample was taken from him in the hospital, and he now faces charges of driving without a license, driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. No new cases of circulatory collapse or hospitalization were reported.
On April 1st, eleven motorcyclists ignored the passage ban on the L755 between 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM and received appropriate fines. No new motorcyclists ignoring passage bans or receiving fines were mentioned in subsequent checks.
The search results do not provide the name of the man who was arrested on April 6th on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and without a driver's license.
The #LEBEN campaign aims to prevent severe and fatal traffic accidents, reminding drivers to adhere to speed limits, follow passage bans, and always drive responsibly. The police will continue to conduct such checks to ensure road safety in the Paderborn District.
