Tragic incident at Piedmont's ATV park leaves 2 dead, 7 children hurt
In a tragic incident on Saturday, an ATV accident occurred at the Indian Mountain ATV Park in Piedmont, Cherokee County, Alabama. The accident involved two side-by-side RZR vehicles that collided, overturned, and hit a tree.
Two individuals were ejected from one of the vehicles, with one being pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was later airlifted to a trauma centre in Birmingham, but unfortunately, they also passed away. The remaining seven victims were children, ranging in age from 1 to 12 years old. Four of these children were taken to the hospital by ambulance, while one woman and three children were airlifted to trauma centres in Birmingham.
