Training of trainer trainers concluded at bdks
In our city, the church-based diakonical values network, bdks, is making a significant impact by promoting the claim of "Diversity of Life". This article is a service provided by our city's Marketing Department, shedding light on bdks's commendable efforts towards inclusion.
bdks, located at Kirchbaunaer StraΓe 19, 34225 our city, is more than just an organisation. With a workforce of 3,000 people, both with and without disabilities, it offers a wide range of services aimed at strengthening people with intellectual disabilities or mental illness in social participation and self-determination.
One of the key initiatives taken by bdks is the training programme for assistant fitness trainers, jointly offered with Special Olympics Hessen. The Deutscher Verband fΓΌr Physiotherapie (ZVK) played a crucial role in this programme.
Inclusion is at the heart of bdks's operations. They provide diverse housing options, individual workplaces, educational and qualification opportunities, and offers for daily structuring, ensuring that everyone feels valued and included.
