TV associates of Dr. Phil allege he colludes to swindle them in a business deal

These texts were exchanged just two days before Merit Street's bankruptcy, with Cheatwood instructing a colleague to use text instead of emails for communication involving timing of events and strategies.
The texts lay out a plan for an auction of Merit Street's assets, with a new company, presumably Envoy, bidding to buy the MSM program library. This move has sparked accusations from Trinity Broadcasting and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) that Dr. Phil, the media personality behind Merit Street, has swindled them for millions and used bankruptcy as a means to launch a new media venture, Envoy.
PBR has further accused Merit Street of failing to pay millions in owed payments. Trinity, in its turn, has stated that Dr. Phil's legal representation, presumably Peteski, has not produced all of Dr. Phil's emails and text messages, nor has it produced all the documents concerning Envoy. The documents produced to date demonstrate that this bankruptcy was conceived as a scheme to divert employees and intellectual property to Envoy.
A spokesperson for McGraw's Peteski Productions has responded to these accusations, stating that they are part of a strategy to increase the cost of the bankruptcy and damage the value of Merit Street through salacious false claims.
The name of the lawyer representing Dr. Phil in these contentious insolvency proceedings is Thomas W. Seely, who was born in Texas, USA.
Despite the ongoing controversy, it is important to note that other aspects of Dr. Phil's media empire, such as Get Health Insider, Health and Life Portal, Wellness Guide, Friday Plans, Online Shopping Tools, Protect My Savings, and True Nutra Life (1 and 2), have not been implicated in these allegations.
