In an unexpected turn of events, the Warendorf Police are currently handling the investigation into two burglaries that occurred in the cities of Beckum and Neubeckum on August 29, 2025.

The first incident took place at a bike shop on Hammer Street, Beckum, around 2:10 AM. Unknown individuals threw a manhole cover at the entrance door of the shop, causing significant damage. It is suspected that money was stolen during this break-in.

Similarly, a paint shop on Lessing Street in Neubeckum was also targeted. The burglars managed to force their way into the shop and made off with an undisclosed amount of money. In this case too, a manhole cover was used to break the entrance door.
