In a series of unfortunate events, two burglaries occurred in Warendorf, Germany, on August 29, 2025. The incidents took place in Beckum and Neubeckum, leaving local businesses with stolen money.

In Beckum, at approximately 2:10 AM, two individuals are believed to have thrown a manhole cover at the entrance door of a bicycle shop on Hammer Street. The force of the impact damaged the door, allowing unknown persons to enter and steal money from the shop.

A similar incident occurred in Neubeckum on Lessing Street, where unknown individuals also used a manhole cover to gain entry into a paint shop. Money was stolen from the premises following the break-in.
