"UFC veteran Rampage Jackson expresses anger towards his son Raja, stating that he deserves prison time following his attack on Syko Stu"
In a shocking turn of events, Raja Jackson, the son of UFC legend Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department following a violent incident at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in California.
During the event, Raja, a professional MMA fighter, attacked professional wrestler Stuart Smith (Syko Stu), leaving him unconscious and with a serious head injury. The initial statement from Raja suggested that Smith was awake and stable, but a public health update later confirmed the severity of the injury.
Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, Raja's father, has spoken out publicly on The Ariel Helwani Show, expressing his anger and denying any involvement in the attack. He stated that Raja probably did not know the extent of the injury he inflicted on Smith.
Despite the incident, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson expressed his continued love for his son, but stated that Raja should be criminally punished, do community service, go to anger management, and see therapists. He also mentioned that he has not spoken to his son since the incident.
Former UFC lightweight Josh Thomson and ex-UFC title challenger Kevin Lee have both called for Raja to face serious punishment, with Thomson stating that Raja will go to prison 'for a long time.'
Raja, however, has not yet been arrested following the incident. Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson has stated that he will turn Raja in once an arrest warrant is issued.
Interestingly, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson has stated that Raja was not trying to kill professional wrestler Stuart Smith during the attack. He also claims that the incident was blown out of proportion and that Raja was not a professional wrestler.
This is not the first time Raja has been involved in controversy. In a separate statement, he has stated that UFC middleweight fighter Sean Strickland should avoid spending time in prison.
The investigation into the incident is pending, and the outcome remains to be seen.
