In the world of automotive news, two new additions to the Chery family have caught the attention of enthusiasts and industry insiders alike. The all-new Chery A1 and the revived QQ3 EV series are set to make their mark, with the A1 set to debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2026, and the QQ3 EV having already made its debut in China.

Let's start with the Chery A1. This compact hatchback has undergone significant improvements to its interior, with a sportier design evident due to the inclusion of a 5-speed manual transmission. Small changes have been made to the light cluster at the back, and a cluster with tape around it is a new feature. The most notable omission is the absence of an automatic transmission option. The lower-front area has also been redesigned, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal of the vehicle.

Moving on to the all-new Chery QQ3 EV, this electric vehicle is part of the QQ series revival. While details about its transmission options and engine changes are not yet available, it has debuted in China. Notably, Chery exported more vehicles than domestic sales in August 2025, indicating a growing global interest in the brand.

Meanwhile, the Jetour Zongheng G700 PHEV has made its pre-sale debut. This off-road SUV boasts a powerful 751 horsepower and a wading depth of 970mm, making it a formidable player in the SUV market.

With the Chery A1 and the QQ3 EV set to make their debuts, the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2026 promises to be an exciting event for automotive enthusiasts. While details about the A1's developer and any potential changes to the QQ3 EV are yet to be revealed, one thing is certain - the future of Chery is looking bright.
