Underground Garage Robbery: A Woman is Threatened and Robbed, Police Urge for Witnesses to Come Forward
In the heart of Düsseldorf's Flingern district, an unsettling incident took place last week. A 48-year-old woman was robbed in an underground garage on Mettmanner Street.
The robbery occurred in the early evening as the woman was parked in her car. The suspect, described as a small, slim individual around 30 years old, approached her wearing a gray sweater and jeans. He snatched the woman's expensive handbag, holding a knife to demand valuables and cash.
The suspect, who was reported to have an Eastern European accent, fled through the stairwell and in an unknown direction after being disturbed by noises. Unfortunately, the stolen handbag has not been recovered, and the suspect's whereabouts after fleeing the crime scene remain unknown.
