Unidentified individuals are being sought by law enforcement agents
In a recent development, the Bonn Police are urging the public to help identify an unknown female suspect who allegedly scammed an 89-year-old woman and stole valuable jewelry worth a five-figure sum in Bonn on May 6, 2025.
The incident took place on Bonn's Adenauerallee, where the suspect was waiting on the sidewalk opposite the König Museum, near the Palais Schaumburg. According to the police reports, the suspect received the jewelry during her wait.
The scam involved a fake report of the victim's son's alleged traffic accident and subsequent bail demand. The suspect was recorded on video by the Palais Schaumburg's video surveillance system, but her identity remains unknown.
The Public Prosecutor's Office in Bonn has offered a reward of 2,000 euros for information leading to the recovery of the stolen property or the identification of the unknown suspect.
