United Way of Greater Cincinnati Releases 2024 Impact Report

The United Way of Greater Cincinnati has released its 2024 impact report, highlighting a year of significant progress in addressing complex community challenges.

Moira Weir, President and CEO of United Way of Greater Cincinnati, expressed pride in the organization's efforts to address the root causes of recurring problems. "Our work is focused on tackling complex community challenges and building solutions through collaboration," Weir said.

Last year, United Way worked with hundreds of partners throughout the region and served over 330,000 people. The report explores their work in three focus areas: educational success, financial empowerment, and housing security.

The report also showcases the organization's impact, which isn't just measured in dollars raised, but also in lives changed, families uplifted, and opportunities created. United Way invested $37.2 million in the community last year, a testament to their commitment to creating lasting change.

Kimberly Mages, PhD, LPCC-S, served as the Board Chair of United Way of Greater Cincinnati in 2024. The report highlights the work of 8,300 volunteers, who played a crucial role in United Way's efforts.

"Our supporters are not just providing resources, but investing in a sustainable future for all," Weir added. United Way's mission is to create a region where everyone can achieve economic well-being.

The 2024 impact report also features 27,000 donors and 600+ community partners. United Way brings together the right partners, resources, and expertise to drive positive change.
