Unlawful Intrusion at Night: Shopping Centre
The South East Hesse Police Headquarters is currently investigating a burglary that occurred at a shopping complex in Gelnhausen early on Monday morning.
According to a statement from the Press Office, located at Spessartring 61, 6313071 Offenbach am Main, the burglary took place at around 3:15 AM. The burglars targeted a pharmacy within the shopping center, ransacking the premises and breaking through a connecting door to the shopping market. The estimated property damage from the burglary is over 1,000 euros, but it is currently unclear if anything was stolen.
The police responded to an alarm at the shopping complex and patrolled the area on Monday morning. The burglars, however, fled the scene before the police arrival, leaving no trace.
