Unlicensed, intoxicated woman leads accident with severe consequences in the southern district of Hamburg

On Friday night, a serious traffic accident occurred on Ehestorfer Heuweg, close to Altwiedenthaler Height. The incident involved a BMW and a Seat, and resulted in the hospitalisation of a woman from the Harburg district.

According to reports, the woman was driving under the influence of alcohol, barefoot in loose slippers, and without a valid driver's license. It is suspected that she was attempting to overtake the BMW when the collision occurred.

The woman crashed into the side of the BMW, causing it to spin out of control. The Seat then careened into a tree on the side of the road. The BMW was attempting to turn left onto a property at the time of the accident, and whether the driver signalled is currently unknown.

Police officers accompanied the injured woman to the hospital, where she was treated for her serious injuries. The Ehestorfer Heuweg was only passable in one lane until around 11 PM due to the accident.

This unfortunate incident serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible driving and adhering to traffic rules. It is crucial to always drive sober, wear appropriate footwear, and hold a valid driver's license.

Our thoughts are with the woman and her family during this difficult time. We will continue to monitor this developing story and provide updates as more information becomes available.
