Unlimited flights on Wizz Air - a competitive travel bargain to consider?
Budget airline Wizz Air has launched an exciting new offer - the All You Can Fly deal, priced at £534 per year. This pass covers all of Wizz Air's international routes across Europe, Asia, Middle East, and North Africa, but with some conditions to consider.
Firstly, the pass must be used within three days of booking the flights. This means that booking three days in advance might not leave you with many options, requiring flexibility.
The 14-day cancellation window is available for the pass, with a full refund, provided no flights have been booked during that period. However, each time a flight is booked using the pass, a £9 flat fee per flight is required, which is non-refundable.
The All You Can Fly package is valid for one person and flights can be taken from September 25, 2024. It's important to note that only 10,000 passes are available for this offer, and they have already sold out on the Wizz Air website.
It's worth mentioning that the pass does not include baggage options or seat selection; these must be paid for separately. This could add to the overall cost of the flights, especially for those requiring extra luggage or preferring specific seats.
Moreover, Wizz Air does not operate flights on bank holidays such as Easter and New Year's Eve. The airline's reputation for customer service, delays, and comfort has been criticized, raising concerns about relying on Wizz Air for a year with the auto-renewal feature.
In recent news, Wizz Air MultiPasses were not made available again on August 15, and there is no specific public information explaining the delay or reason for the continued unavailability after they were sold out on the website.
Additionally, Wizz Air announced a 44% drop in its first-quarter profits, and its shares plummeted by 15% on August 1. These financial struggles may impact the airline's operations and service in the future.
The All You Can Fly scheme may not be cost-effective for those who require advanced planning for accommodations and need more time to book baggage and seat selection. Therefore, potential customers are advised to weigh the benefits and drawbacks before deciding to purchase the pass.
