Unresolved Case in Bocholt labeled as File XY under Pol-Bor Investigation
A year has passed since a 36-year-old woman was brutally attacked in Bocholt, and the case remains unsolved. The attack took place on the night of August 23-24, 2024, at the underpass of the L602.
According to the press release from September 5, 2024, the woman was followed by two unknown men on her way home. No specific location within the underpass was provided. One of the men knocked the woman off her bike, assaulted her, and acted in a sexually inappropriate manner. The second man stood a few meters away and told the perpetrator to stop. After the attack, the two men took the woman's cash and bike before fleeing undetected.
The police have been actively investigating the case, but the perpetrators remain at large. The information was originally transmitted by the Circular Police Authority Borken. A reward of 1,000 euros has been offered for any information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator(s).
