Unsecured cargo at the Polish-Hungarian border: Three hefty silos tumbling off a lorry's loading zone
In an incident that took place on Friday, 05.09.2025, officers from the traffic division of Hagen Police caught a truck driver transporting his load without securing it. The truck in question had three silo containers on rollers, each weighing several hundred kilograms, that were not secured.
The officers noticed the truck on Feithstraße towards Luetzowstraße. Upon closer inspection, they discovered several unsecured metal-filled containers at the front of the cargo bed. The driver was also suspected of not wearing a seatbelt.
As a result, the traffic division officers prohibited the driver from continuing until the load was secured. The man now faces a fine of 60 euros.
